Cette carte représente les émissions d’oxydes d’azote (NOX, c’est à. dire NO+NO2) en kg/habitant et par commune sur le Rhin supérieur.

Les émissions d’oxydes d’azote proviennent de l’utilisation de combustibles de tous types (essence, gazole, charbons, gaz naturel, fiouls …). Les oxydes d’azote se forment par combinaison de l’azote contenu dans l’air ou dans les combustibles et de l’oxygène atmosphérique. Tous les secteurs utilisateurs de combustibles sont concernés, en particulier les transports routiers. Enfin quelques procédés industriels émettent des NOX en particulier la production d'acide nitrique et la production d'engrais azotés. Dans la zone d’étude les principaux émetteurs sont les secteurs routier et industriel (procédés de production compris).

Diese Karte stellt die Emissionen von Stickoxiden (NOX, d.h. NO+NO2) in kg/Einwohner und pro Gemeinde am Oberrhein dar.

Stickstoffoxid-Emissionen entstehen bei der Verbrennung von unterschiedlichen Brennstoffen (Benzin, Diesel, Kohle, Erdgas, Heizöl, Biomasse, usw.). Stickstoffoxide entstehen durch die Reaktion des Stickstoffs (in der Verbrennungsluft und in den Brennstoffen) mit Luftsauerstoff.

Betroffen sind alle kraftstoffverbrauchenden Sektoren, insbesondere der Straßenverkehr. Außerdem erzeugen einige industrielle Prozesse NOX-Emissionen, insbesondere die Produktion von Salpetersäure und die Herstellung von Stickstoffdünger. Im Untersuchungsgebiet sind die Haupt-emittenten der Straßen- und Industriesektor (einschließlich Produktionsprozesse).

This map shows the emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOX, i.e. NO+NO2) in kg/capita per municipality on the Upper Rhine.

Nitrogen oxide emissions come from the use of all types of fuels (petrol, diesel, coal, natural gas, fuel oils, etc.). Nitrogen oxides are formed by the combination of nitrogen contained in the air or in the fuels and atmospheric oxygen. All fuel-using sectors are concerned, in particular road transport. Finally, some industrial processes emit NOX, in particular the production of nitric acid and the production of nitrogen fertilisers. In the study area the main emitters are the road and industrial sectors (including production processes).
